Assignment description

For our client Aurobay, we are looking for Software Asset Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for the management of PC-ME digital assets, applications, and the corresponding licenses. 

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Identify license needs, estimate the costs and prepare investment requests. 
  • Setting up efficient Asset Management processes, facilitate and coordinate the implementation of Software Asset Management functions that brings business value.

  • Provide focused, practical and direct support and advice in all aspects of software licensing and usage.
  • Provide hands-on support for the application/assets implementations, software renewals, license negotiations, and license audits, including future plans.
  • Participate in license negotiations and evaluations of vendor offers
  • Work with vendors to build software installation packages and roll out those packages on the end-user system, in collaboration with infrastructure and PC-ME System team
  • Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and configurations
  • Review, maintain, and enhance the technical setup of the applications and environments
  • Coordinate with PC-ME Digital team to maintain knowledge on all licensing changes
  • Active communication with business users about planned maintenance, upgrades, and configurations
  • In collaboration with the System team, support end users on technical issues

 Skills Requirements

We believe you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in handling multiple applications.
  • Technical knowledge of cloud services, integrations and application management
  • Experience of working with databases SQL, Oracle etc.
  • Good knowledge on different licensing models
  • Good communication and negotiation skill
