Senior backend agile Java Developer with Java Enterprise Edition experience

We need a Java Software Engineer that is passionate about software development. You will work in cross-functional agile DevOps team with fellow Software engineers to solve complex technical problems and enhancing our customers online experience. You will be responsible for the full application lifecycle

Tasks & responsibilites

• Enable the best possible technical solution to be implemented from an end to end customer experience perspective
• Use your in-depth knowledge about the product technical setup and usage of a product to continuously iterate and deliver on product improvements together with your peers and Product Owner
• Ensure that our solutions are robust and sustainable
• Collaborate with Product Owner, UX designer and Business Experts to translate requirements to user stories and into technical solutions
• Culture first-rate development practices to continuously ship high quality features and improvements
• You use, advocate and spread modern agile software development methodologies and help develop good standard engineering practices in your team and in our developer communities

Education

At least University/Collage Education

Specialization:

Information Technology

Required experience / expertise

At least 6 – 10 years software engineer experience

Must have:

• Springboot, Kafka
• JPA, SQL, Postgres
• Maven, git
• UNIX scripting
• Docker, Kubernetes, helm
• TDD, TestContainers
• Java or Docker in Azure
• Frontend JSP experience
• Agile software development practices
• Speak and write in both Swedish and English

Meritorious experience / expertise

Nice to have:

• JBoss, Tomcat
• EJB, Oracle, Flyway
• Grafana, Dynatrace
• Solution Design/Architecture experience
