We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer with expertise in Azure, hands-on experience in Data Factory and Databricks, and a strong background in data modelling.
Assignment Description
- Experience in data modeling to design and optimize data structures ensuring efficient storage, scalability and performance.
- You will work closely with Solution designer to make sure you build an effective and sustainable solution.
- Work will mainly relate to cloud services as Vattenfall use Microsoft Azure as a cloud platform.
- As part of the team you will take part in the development cycle (requirement analysis, design, development, test, deployment, hand over).
- Design, build and integrate data from various sources.
- Write complex data queries and create data infrastructure in a simple and efficient matter.
- Design and develop Power BI dashboard solutions for the business to make it possible to e.g. increase decision accuracy and improve process efficiency.
- Work closely with our business stakeholders with a strong focus on aligning with business and technical requirements
Required Skills
- At least a Bachelor’s within Computer Science or comparable field and you have experience in software development.
- Ability to integrate data from a variety of sources using integration and orchestration tools as Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Strong and experienced in Data Modeling to design efficient and scalable data structures.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale ETL / ELT pipelines.
- Well familiar with Microsoft Azure Data lake, Azure SQL database and data warehouse solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI reporting and self service solution.
- Strong in stakeholder management.
- Self-motivated and self-going.
- Swedish and English is required for this position.
