As Lead for Mechanical Engineer, you will lead a talented team of engineers, guiding the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers to drive project success.
- Manage mechanical engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Oversee the design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate mechanical designs into the development process.
- Drive innovation and optimization of mechanical solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
- Communicate technical requirements and progress to stakeholders, including senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on FEM calculations, 3D CAD design (we use Solidworks), and large-scale component manufacturing; ideally within the energy, or high-tech industries.
- Leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams are a plus.
- Broad knowledge of mechanical engineering with expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and simulation software.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
- A passion for innovation and solving complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Fluency in Swedish is a plus
