Assignment Description
- The Senior IT Tester with the skills and expertise of ETL testing and strong SQL knowledge are responsible for performing functional testing and system testing on the system under test.
- Understand the data lineage and transformations of underlying data and develop suitable test to evaluate the quality of new transformational changes under development.
- Develop test scenarios with good measure of test coverage and identity test data for the corresponding test scenarios.
- The manual ETL testing is performed to verify the functionality developed based on the functional design documents and other system documents.
- Highly motivated, proactive individual with willingness to learn, develop radical QA solutions to improve the quality of system and actively collaborate with scrum team in a SAFe setup. Expertise in Test Automation framework, preferably Robot Framework.
- Good communication skill to enable good collaboration with IT and Business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in Functional ETL testing, with a minimum 2+ years of experience in Banking domain (preferably Credit Risk).
- Expertise in Functional testing in Database and Data migration, transformations and ETL.
- Expertise and sound knowledge in Advanced SQLs and Joins.
- Experience in Slowly Changing Dimensions Data Warehousing concepts.
- Good analytical skills with ability to understand the data lineage of the system under test.
- Hands-on experience in Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Data Stage.
