We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to play a vital role in advising IT teams on best practices in IT security. The ideal candidate will adopt a proactive approach, demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional teams, and successfully manage projects to completion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities to work effectively within diverse teams. You will work closely with a manager to identify and execute the necessary actions for achieving security compliance. This includes leading the implementation of security compliance frameworks such as NIS2 and assisting the GDPR Officer with resolving IT-related issues and findings. Additionally, the role involves preparing and submitting reports to relevant authorities within required timelines and acting as the point of contact for addressing IT breaches. Developing practical IT policies that meet compliance requirements, rolling out standardized binding policies and supporting implementation. The role also includes ensuring that partners and suppliers adhere to the organization’s policies and compliance standards.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in software development, IT deployment, and cloud infrastructure, with a preference for Azure environments.
- Hands-on experience in information systems operations, systems analysis, or development.
- Experience in IT security.
- A background in Computer Science or a related field.
