Assignment Description
- Develop and maintain global standard PLC solutions to be used globally.
- Communication with MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
- Operator support in manual operations.
- Review technical content of the documentation and ensure that it meets the agreed level.
- You contribute to early development phases with your specialist knowledge.
- Data Collection for “Big Data” applications.
- Equipment & Process performance Tools (Visualization, Reporting and Analyze).
- Participate in global networks within Volvo Cars for aligning strategies and development.
- Support implementation of global standard PLC solutions and external machine builders.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge in PLC programming primary in Siemens TIA, but other brands are also beneficial.
- Good knowledge about different industrial/IT communication technologies.
- Holistic knowledge about industrial digitalization and control technology (PLC, IoT, SCADA, etc.).
- Knowledge about Cyber Security requirements and technologies in industrial applications.
- Work experience in manufacturing (Process equipment and industrial automation).
- High automation competence.
- Commission experience.
- Production experience.
- Fluent in speaking and writing English.
- Swedish is meritorious.
- A valid driver’s license B is meritorious.
