We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Consultant with a strong background in automotive technology to join our team at one of our customers. The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing security measures to protect automotive electronic control units (ECUs) and networks from cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Security Development: Design and implement robust security protocols for automotive systems, including secure boot, TPM, and network security.
- Security Assessments: Conduct thorough security assessments and penetration testing on automotive systems to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to integrate security solutions into vehicle architectures.
- Research and Analysis: Stay updated on the latest automotive cyber security threats and trends, and apply this knowledge to enhance vehicle security.
- Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance on secure software development practices and assist in secure diagnostics and debugging processes.
Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cyber security roles, specifically within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, CAN FD), secure boot, TPM, and network security principles.
- Experience with penetration testing, secure software development, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Meticulous approach to identifying and addressing security issues.
- Commitment to staying updated on the latest cyber security threats and trends in the automotive industry.
