Responsibilities
Product Vision and Strategy
- Define and maintain a clear product vision aligned with Recovery objectives, and the broader CORE offering.
- Develop a strategic product roadmap, aligning features with recovery KPIs such as efficiency in handling recovered products, customer
satisfaction in the As-Is market, and sustainable process improvements. - Be able to describe Recovery As-Is capabilities and how they connect to business processes and co-worker/customer journeys.
Backlog Management
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, stakeholder input, and data insights.
- Ensure backlog items are well-defined, with clear acceptance criteria and ready for the development team.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters to refine and adjust the backlog based on team velocity, dependencies, and sprint goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and business stakeholders within Recovery.
- Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture insights, understand operational challenges, and validate solution approaches.
- Regularly communicate product status, key updates, and new functionalities to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into the backlog.
- Align the product with application lifecycle management (ALM).
Sprint Planning and Agile Practices
- Lead the team in preparing for and participating in Scrum ceremonies, with a strong emphasis on Sprint Planning.
- Work closely with the development team to estimate tasks and ensure alignment on sprint goals.
- Actively participate in Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives, using insights to drive iterative product improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in a digital product environment, ideally within retail, supply chain, or sustainability-focused
sectors. - Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience working closely with Scrum Masters and development teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to align diverse teams around common goals.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- It’s essential that the Product Owner has Recovery and As-Is knowledge and having operational experience is a great advantage.
