Assignment Description
- Develop Test Strategy for large scale IT changes spanning across multiple IT programmes.
- Develop Test Schedule outlining the dependencies of the works streams internally to the project and the respective integrating systems.
- Communicate and coordinate with the relevant test managers of the respective cross ARTs integrating with MDP w.r.t the EPIC.
- Support and guide testing team to develop test approach, identify suitable test data and measure test coverage.
- Enable test coordination discussions with the relevant IT and Business stakeholders and operation team to implement the test strategy and plan for UAT.
- Identify test related risks and raise it in the relevant forum amongst the relevant IT & Business stakeholders for mitigating actions.
- Manage data quality issues / defects identified as part of the tests internal and external ART.
- Resolve test data requests for the corresponding test levels within and external to the ART.
- Overall quality governance, support to audits and compliance processes.
Required Skills
- Experience in IT, Finance sector and Software Development Life Cycle process & methodology.
- Work experience in Quality Assurance & testing process of which a minimum experience as Test Manager / QA Lead in large scale SAFe agile projects.
- Strong expertise in managing Functional, Non Functional testing, Test Automation. End to End Test Analysis, Test Planning, Execution & Coordination Cross Agile Release Train (SAFe) agile framework.
- Expertise and sound knowledge in Database, Advanced SQLs and Joins, Data migration, transformations and ETL.
- Experience in Hadoop Ecosystem (HIVE and HDFS) & Snowflake.
- Knowledge and experience on Data Warehouse & Data migration testing, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
- Handling & coordination of test Data and test Environments for test preparedness.
- Exposure to in Test Automation framework, (preferably Robot Framework), Scripting (preferably Python), Jenkins and GIT.
- Usage of Test management tools (HP ALM / Qtest) and JIRA.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Above all, a highly motivated, proactive individual with willingness to learn, develop radical QA solutions to improve the quality of system and actively collaborate with scrum team in a SAFe setup.
