We are seeking an experienced Copado Release Engineer to manage and optimize our Salesforce DevOps and release processes using Copado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing release management, ensuring CI/CD best practices, and maintaining version control within Salesforce environments. This role requires a strong understanding of Copado and Salesforce, as well as expertise in automation, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Release Management: Coordinate and execute release plans, including deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities, ensuring seamless integration across Salesforce environments.
  • Pipeline Management: Configure, manage, and optimize Copado pipelines to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Version Control: Manage version control using Copado’s Git-based branching model, ensuring proper tracking and resolution of conflicts.
  • Automation: Leverage Copado’s automation tools to reduce manual intervention, streamline deployments, and minimize errors, ensuring a scalable release process.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve deployment and integration issues, collaborating with developers and system administrators to troubleshoot and fix problems.
  • Change Management: Implement and enforce change management policies and best practices, maintaining documentation of all release activities and configurations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management, to align on release timelines, requirements, and quality standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Regularly review and optimize the release management process to improve efficiency, reduce deployment time, and enhance overall performance.
  • Reporting: Generate and share release performance metrics, such as deployment frequency, lead time, and failure rate, to provide visibility into release quality and velocity.
